Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update hits the AT&T HTC One X Smartphone

AT&T One X has started rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates for their variant. The latest update can be downloaded over-the-air, So HTC One user simply check ‘Applications’ -> ‘Settings’ -> ‘About Phone and Tap’ -> check for updates.

The Android 4.1 update brings Google Now, Project Butter, enhanced notification, improved stability and battery performance, minor UI changes. It also provides new Google search functionality, support for AT & T lsis mobile payment system, MMS/SMS previews the notification and countdown for front-facing camera.

AT&T’s ready to apply the update to all One XL customers in United States of America.

Nokia announces Glam Me Lenses, SophieLens and 2InstaWithLove apps for Windows Phone

Microsoft Corporation has been working really hard to bring back all of its accepted apps to the Windows Phone platform, until now, Instagram has turned out to be fully indefinable for the Redmond guys. As Microsoft efforts are not doing much excellent here, Nokia considers taking the lead, taking a fresh approach to it. Rather than coming up with a fancy image editor and stating the app to be superior to Instagram, Nokia released #2InstaWithLove.

#2InstaWithLove is an app that provides users with a photo stream of the images using the application. Every image has a hashtag #2InstaWithLove related to it, and can aid Nokia’s grounds by spreading the word on Twitter, Facebook and several other social media portals urging Instagram to come up with an official application itself to the platform.

This may sound simple and like it would turn out crudely, but it’s actually quite the opposite. The end result is a very realistic, humorous at times rendition of an animated photograph. It really is an odd combination of movie and photograph but somehow it is endearing and relatable and is more than just fun.

Every once in a while a photo editing app comes along that is actually worth some praise. Most of the editing apps out there today revolve around the same basic filters, overplayed effects, and can essentially be obsoleted by a simple Instagram filter. FX Studio HD, by MacPhun is a very welcome change into this market. They have created what some photo editors out there refer to as the “light room for iPad”.

The thing that sets this app apart from others is not only the interface which is one of the most seamless and easy to use ones out there, but the amount of effects that actually work and create high quality alterations to default pictures is incredible. With over 190 effects, you’d expect a lot of repeat, or somewhat duplicate editing to be going on, but that’s not the case at all. All that crazily high number means is that there are actually that many different effects you can apply to a photo. That feature alone makes this app worth checking out, but there is much more.

The app is not your ordinary run of the mill editing app, this is one that can create effects which are very professional. The ability to create and edit layers, frames and adjust colors also makes this not just an effect filter or lens app.

Once you are finished with your editing you can easily export the image to any source, cloud storage, or social media through a one click share feature. You can also have postcards or photos ordered from the app and shipped anywhere in the world.
