It’s a great app for those of us who have 2 windows open and 2o tabs open on each window on our laptops. It’s a great app for a multi-tasker. Although there is not direct YouTube support, you can open up the site in the browser and watch that way. The customizability of the window size is great and can transition seamlessly from my phone to my tablet. It works really well no matter the size of the device. If you’re really into getting a lot done at once you can even open up 6 windows in one floating window for an even more inclusive experience.

Ctrl+C the Simple Solution to Copying Text on Android

Ever since the inception of the smart phone and the use of texting and mobile browsing has exploded, the text copying methods have left much to be desired. Sharing text excerpts with others has been a harrowing and burdensome path involving tons of frustration. Ctrl+C for Android offers up a great solution to this annoying situation. You’ll no longer just have to explain that funny picture of the dog with sunglasses, the news story about the guy you went to school with, or the awesome new crafting idea. Now you can share the link, text excerpt or full text easily and quickly.

Ctrl+C basically is an app that allows sharing text, link urls, news articles, jokes or any other words you can find in the easiest way possible. There’s usually a few button presses, a slide of the fingers, and maybe even a magic spell involved in editing text on a smart phone. While the touch interface is great for viewing large images and getting the most visual for your buck, sometimes the ability to only have touch controls makes manipulation on a minute detail scale quite cumbersome. This app makes it much more manageable.

The app doesn’t just allow you to take text and copy it. It also fulfills the other end of the job as well. For those familiar with copy and paste commands, the app really could be called Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V. Since it allows you to take text from one location and transition it to any chat window, any email, any text, etc. The options really are endless. It may not seem like a huge deal, but once you use the app you’ll realize how many instances where you wanted to copy text but didn’t because of the annoyance there are. Stop limiting your text sharing on your Android device. Get Ctrl+C to finally show your friend that funny picture, send your mom that link to her online birthday card, and post that crazy news story to your social media site.

Samsung’s Possible Power Behind the Coming S4: 8 Core Exynos 5 Octa Mobile Processor

Apple vs. Samsung debates aside, clearly Samsung is the powerhouse behind many of the leading components that most modern smart phones encase. Their Galaxy S line has been groundbreaking since their introduction to the market and only continues to grow and improve. The newest announcement coming from the Samsung camp is the announcement of this chip which combines all of the best efforts of their past creations into one all star. If you’ve owned any version of the Galaxy S series you’ll surely notice how much each version improves and how much faster, and more responsive each offering has been.

When broken down, the combination of two, four core processors nested together, the ARM Cortex A15 and the Cortex A7 work uniquely to handle different workloads. This will enable the device a longer battery life since the work can be sourced to whichever processor best fits the job. This level of work efficiency will enable whichever device is lucky enough to house this chip a much greater life on the battery.

Although this processor isn’t necessarily something that is going to go down in the record books as breaking any records or discovery any new technology, the extension of battery life is going to be key. It’s a great feature to help attempt to resolve the most important issue with most of our current devices. They have become so small that any notable battery would seem obnoxious and over bearing. This means each device has to have a tiny battery and the device can only last a smaller portion of time off of a charge. It’s trading efficiency and portability for battery life.

The Core Exynos 5 Octa will most likely find its way into one of Samsung’s tablets initially. After being somewhat tested in that market it may make its way into the phone market with the next model of S4. One thing’s for sure that Samsung knows what they’re doing in the smart phone market. This processor will be quite a notable and noticeable addition to the power and performance of any device.
