The application has been made available in 29 different languages and over 40 different countries including Japanese and Chinese.
Users all around the globe have been waiting for the Google Maps app on the iOS devices. The release being made today, Google Maps app is here, available to users in the App Store. The app as has been premeditated from the ground up to bring in the precision and comprehensiveness of Google Maps with an extremely friendly user-interface that helps users find what they are actually looking for much easier as well as faster.

With the release of the iOS 6 version, Apple replaced the Google Maps app with a native Apple Maps app, in part to bring down its dependence on Google.

On the other hand, Apple Maps was not much appreciated as some of the mapping services lacked the accuracy and details earlier originated in Google Maps. Accordingly, Cupertino has amplified and improved its efforts to hire developers who could improvise the program and Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO even declared an explanation to iOS consumers for the unplanned initial effort.
