The app as has been premeditated from the ground up to bring in the precision and comprehensiveness of Google Maps with an extremely friendly user-interface that helps users find what they are actually looking for much easier as well as faster.

With the release of the iOS 6 version, Apple replaced the Google Maps app with a native Apple Maps app, in part to bring down its dependence on Google.
