Samsung confirms it will bring Tizen OS smartphones this year

Finally Samsung confirms it will bring Tizen OS Smartphones this year. Tizen is a Linux-Based open source OS system led by Intel and Samsung. The Operating system supports both Intel and ARM processors and SDK API allow developers to develop HTML 5 based applications.

“We plan to release new, competitive Tizen devices within this year and will keep expanding the lineup depending on market conditions,” Samsung told Bloomberg Businessweek in an e-mailed statement.

Samsung believed to have better designs on boosting Tizen as a leading OS.

Unfortunately, we haven’t any confirmation about device specification and pricing details for the upcoming Samsung smartphones. Maybe following actions help them, to decrease reliance on Google Android Os.
