Gorilla Glass is on track to becoming the most popular scratch resistant solution for modern smartphones and tablets. Corning, the maker of popular Gorilla Glass for phones and tablets, has announced that they would showcase scratch resistant Gorilla Glass 3 at CES 2013 next week. Gorilla Glass series has been rapidly growing and is used in large range of popular smartphones of 2102 including Samsung Galaxy S Series, HTC One, iPhone, Google Nexus as well as NOKIA Lumia 920.
According to Corning upcoming Glass 3 will be three times more resistant and will also reduce visibility of scratches by 40 percent apart from this, The third generation of Gorilla Glass would be tougher than previous with native damage resistance.
Corning said full product details will be released on January 7.
